![]() ![]() But eventually, boredom and monotony took over even though I finished the demo. I busied myself with silly tasks, searched for lots of artifacts, and diddled with the interactive items in each scene. The music was suitable to the story, background sounds were okay, the scenes were full of the usual hodge-podge to sift through. ![]() ![]() There was nothing special about the characters but the voice-overs were good. The graphics were sharp and brightly colored, the usual Domini neons were present, there were no tech issues. Thank goodness I have a huge library of the oldies but goodies to fall back on. But it has become watered down along the way, as has happened to so many other games offered today. The hidden city with its unusual citizens brought us a decent storyline and a good adventure. Secret City caught my attention when it was a new series and I own several of its games. The storyline fell flat and it held no challenge, everything felt like a chore to me but the pace of the game moved along okay in spite of the many tasks. I was surprised that Domini didn't do a better job with this game. Too Many Artifacts, Not Enough Story I demoed the CE and found it to be disappointing. ![]()
